Only Old and Vintage!

We(meaning Dan!) love art with animals. Especially Victorian images like this one. This is an altered, late Victorian photograph inspired by the work of Charles Burton Barber, who was Queen Victoria's personal pet artist. We( Dan!) love this one, with the little girl just loving that dog. This is classic Victorian, coupling a love of pets and children and it's only $85!
Here is a very cool late 19th century, oak sideboard mirror or mantle. Someone painted it ivory and we distressed it. It has both the original beveled glass and some brand new plain glass! These are fantastic and useful pieces for halls, behind the couch or bed. This one is in perfect condition and is only $85!
Here is a great, home made piece. Someone took the drawers from an old sewing machine stand and they added some walnut to the top and bottom to make a very cool apothecary style cabinet. This was from a wonderful sewing stand with gorgeous tiger oak and is only $60.
We love mixing styles and making it work and these antique, primitive feather glaze plates look fantastic with any other blue and white design. These can still be used for serving! These date back to the mid to late 1800s and are $30 each or $50 for the pair.
A rarely seen type of bench. This is an early 19th century harness or vise bench. There is a pedal underneath that closes the clamp or vise and someone would straddle the bench working on leather goods. This is such a versatile piece that could blend in with a lodge, primitive or french country decor and it's only $90.
We have been experimenting with some fun white washed finishes and are very happy with the results. Pieces, like this maple chest of drawers, have been given a "not too bright" white wash and then distressed. It's a great way to update a piece and the "chippier" they get, the better they look! This chest is only $149!
We have been getting a lot of wicker pieces. Some we paint with bright, modern colors, but this one we left alone. This rocker is possibly a Bar Harbor Wicker piece but doesn't have any manufacturer stamps or tags. A lot of these have been painted over the years and the previous owner of this rocker gave it really nice ivory or linen finish. The cushions are a fun "Miami" pattern and are perfect with the ivory. This piece is most likely from the 1940s. This particular rocker is only $65!
Here is a very cool Table Talk Pie case. Anyone who wanted to sell Table Talk pies would have the Table Talk vendor bring in a fresh case weekly and you paid for the pies and a deposit on the pie plate. It was just like the milkman coming to your house...except instead of milk, it was pies;) These are fantastic for filing papers or keep one on your countertop for more plates! This 1950s/1960s one is $45.
Chairs aren't just for sitting in! Little, antique ones like this may not be great for our brutish kids to jump into but they fill a corner perfectly and have a great, level surface for some fun accessories. This is an early 20th century Arts and Crafts side chair and is $45.
Here is another example of a piece that doesn't need to be used for it's primary purpose. This adorable surrey bench can be a low sofa table or can have some blankets thrown on it at the foot of your bed. This is a wonderful 19th century bench with a chippy black(and likely original) paint finish that could blend into any decor. Try and find a modern bench with the same charm for $189!
